15.7 MW SPP + 12 MW/50 MWh BESS Under Construction: A High-Yield Energy Investment in Ukraine
Construction has begun on a major energy facility — a 15.7 MW solar power plant (SPP) combined with a 12 MW / 50 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS).
It's precisely this combination that makes the project truly powerful: the SPP generates clean energy during the day, while the BESS stores the surplus and releases it to the grid at the most advantageous times — smoothing the load curve and increasing the asset's profitability.
What's already done:
— Geodetic layout and fence installation
— Installation of thousands of support posts and steel structures
— Assembly of the SPP's load-bearing structures (longitudinal and transverse beams, tables)
— Connection of solar panels to the plant's electrical circuit
— Foundation preparation for the transformer substation (KTP)
Currently in progress:
— Installation of photovoltaic modules (hundreds of units daily)
— Laying of DC power cable
— Concreting foundations for transformer substations and BESS equipment
Why this is attractive to investors:
The combination of generation and storage is one of the most profitable formats on today's energy market. This is an asset built to stay ahead of the curve — earning not only from electricity sales, but also from grid balancing, price arbitrage, and participation in ancillary services.
