EDS Delivers Two 10 MW / 20.06 MWh BESS Facilities at a 110/35/10 kV Substation
Strategically Important: Facilities Integrated Directly into Existing Infrastructure
Facilities integrated directly into existing infrastructure play a strategically important role. They provide local resilience, high flexibility, and system reliability right at the load nodes.
We have delivered 2 BESS facilities at a 110/35/10 kV substation — 10 MW / 20.06 MWh each. Two independent complexes, built from the ground up within a single project.
Our team carried out the full cycle of works:
➕ Earthworks and foundation construction for BESS modules, transformer substation (KTP) modules, and control equipment (UPE) modules
➕ Installation of 2 BESS modules, a KTP module, and a UPE module
➕ Installation of a 35 kV metering cabinet
➕ Grounding installation
➕ Laying of 0.8 kV AC/DC cable lines, and 0.4 kV auxiliary power cable lines
➕ Construction and connection of a 35 kV cable line
➕ Commissioning and testing works
➕ Site landscaping, lighting, and fencing
Facilities like these are about integrating energy storage into the real grid — here and now, without waiting for ideal conditions. It's steps like these that build the country's energy resilience.
