EDS-Ukraine Develops a 50 MW / 100 MWh Energy Storage System

18/06/2025

An energy storage facility with a capacity of 100 MWh and a capacity of 50 MW. What exactly are we doing to make this project a reality?

#EDS_Project - developed design documentation for the system that integrates into the grid on the 110 kV side of the 220 kV substation.
#EDS_Engineering is implementing the project in two stages:

📌 In the first stage, we install transformer substations, power modules and build the main 110/35 kV substation. We are building cable networks, modular premises, and all the necessary infrastructure - from lighting to parking and shelters.

The second stage is to double the capacity: 10 more KTPs, 10 more power modules, expansion of the switchgear, additional networks and equipment for stable and reliable operation of the entire system.

💡 This project is an investment in energy stability, it is part of the new architecture of the Ukrainian power system.
At EDS-UKRAINE, we create not only facilities, but also the future.
