The EDS team has installed new supports in the range of 6, 10 kV lines and mounted 17 10 kV 1000A reclosers on them. As of today, all reclosers have been installed, the project was completed on time.

The project was implemented in Apostolivskyi, Krynychanskyi, Nikopolskyi, Novomoskovskyi and Synelnykivskyi districts of the Dnipropetrovsk oblast. Both household consumers in the surrounding villages and a number of industrial regional enterprises will feel the effect of the smart grids installing.

It is noteworthy that the project also involved two specialized EDS teams, namely:

E-Substation, which deals with the assembly/disassembly of metal structures and equipment at electrical substations up to 330 kV;

specialists of the EDS electrotechnical laboratory, who carried out the high-voltage tests with the help of the combined mobile unit ETL 35K.

Both teams work in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Poltava and Kharkiv oblasts.

As a reminder, the recloser is an automatic network sectionalization point, which includes a high-voltage equipment cabinet with a vacuum circuit breaker, a control cabinet with microprocessor relay protection and automation. In the event of a network malfunction, the recloser turns off the damaged area, allowing not to limit the power supply to all consumers.
