This is the second of 5 projects for the construction of electricity storage facilities that we have recently successfully completed.

Location on the basis of 110/10/10 substation

Purpose: provision of ancillary services in the electricity market

So, now let's look at why a UZE is a profitable investment.

👉 Purchasing electricity at low nighttime tariffs (2 UAH/kWh) and selling it during peak periods (up to 15 UAH/kWh), which ensures a stable basic income.

👉 Ancillary services - participation in the frequency regulation of the power system, which potentially generates additional income - approximately 500-800 UAH/MW per day.

👉 Market prospects - the growing share of RES in Ukraine's energy balance creates additional demand for balancing services, which increases the cost of ancillary services.

👉 Financial indicators - ROI of projects is 12-20% per annum, average payback period is 4 years, with minimal operating costs.
