Today we continue to talk about project management and share the experience of EDS-Ukraine.

So what is a project anyway? How is it different from current activities?

If we talk about projects in general, then this is a very common system for achieving goals. Project management is present absolutely everywhere, not just in business!

A project is a set of interrelated tasks that must be completed to create a unique product.

Another feature of the project is that there are always time limits. If some process is infinite, then this does not apply to the project. A project always has a deadline.

That is, we must achieve certain goals in a certain period of time.

If we talk about examples, then the construction of the object of the same solar power plant for our own needs is what? Project. Because each solar power plant is unique and there is a lot of uncertainty at the beginning of the project.

And if we talk about the production activities of the company? This is already a well established activity.

Yes, each product is also unique, since orders are often individual and almost never repeated, but the process itself, through which everything goes, is a well-established activity. Why? Because it is clear what will happen in the next moment, there is a certain algorithm.
