“Development of infrastructure for electric vehicles in Ukraine: the future of our mobility”
The electric vehicle market in Ukraine is growing annually and has more than 100,000 electric vehicles. According to Ukravtoprom, the share of electric vehicles among all imported cars is 18% and is catching up with diesel cars at 23%.
The growth in the number of electric vehicles on Ukrainian roads also leads to an increase in demand for charging stations. Which, in turn, also demonstrate significant development, applying modern technological trends.
🚙🚗 Number of Simultaneously Charged Electric Vehicles - Multistations
- With the growing number of electric vehicles on the road, there is a need for charging stations that can simultaneously serve several cars. EDS charging stations, known as “multistations”, ensure efficient use of infrastructure and allow charging 4 vehicles at the same time.
🔄⚡️ Types of connectors
- The variety of connector types such as NACS (Tesla), CCS1, CCS 2, GB/t and CHAdeMO defines the market. EDS charging stations support the CCS2 (Combined Charging System) connector, which is the standard for EU countries. An optional GB/t solution is also available. This allows using one station to charge the most popular brands of electric vehicles in Ukraine.
🚀⚡️ Reduced Charging Time
- Limiting the charging time of electric vehicles is a key area of research. Our solution is already capable of charging modern cars in 20 to 40 minutes, depending on the car's architecture. We are also considering the possibility of integrating a coolant cable from Phoenix Contact in the next version of our EDS charging station.
💡 EDS-Chargers
- EDS chargers follow current trends and meet the highest standards of efficiency and convenience. Our chargers provide fast, safe and reliable charging, meeting the needs of modern electric vehicle owners. We offer trunking solutions in the DC Fast Charger class, which allow drivers to experience no fundamental difference in use between ICE and EV vehicles.
Keep your finger on the pulse of technology with EDS Ukraine and discover the future of electric mobility today!
