A new stage at the 19 MW SPP facility!

We are pleased to announce the successful installation and connection of 10 units of Energy Storage Units (BESS) with a total capacity of 1 MW and a capacity of 2.3 MWh.

🤔 What is an energy storage unit for?

An energy storage unit is a modern device that helps to optimize energy consumption. Its key function is to stabilize the power grid and save electricity. The system can charge when energy is low in cost, for example, during hours of excess SPP generation, and return it to the grid or to consumers when tariffs rise. This allows for efficient cost management and ensures power supply stability.

💸 Investment benefits

The use of BESS creates a significant investment benefit.

✔ ️The system allows you to significantly save on electricity bills by using it at the most profitable time.

✔ ️The sale of stored energy to the grid at a higher tariff brings additional income.

✔ ️The BESS provides stable power supply and protection against power outages, which is critical for the smooth operation of any facility.

How it works

Each UPS works as an intelligent battery that automatically analyzes and optimizes energy flows. All 10 systems are connected to a Power Collection Cabinet (PCC) manufactured by EDS. This provides centralized management and monitoring, which guarantees maximum efficiency and reliability of the entire system.

🛠 Key works that were performed

✔ ️Preparation of the base. Arrangement of a sand and gravel cushion, backfilling and soil compaction.

✔ ️Cable works. Laying of power and control cables on the site.

Grounding system. Development, welding and installation of the grounding circuit.

Installation of equipment. Installation and connection of 10 RCDs, installation of EDS firewalls.

✔ ️System setup. Connection and configuration of communication and telemechanics.

✔ ️Adjustment work. Inspection, adjustment and testing

Effective use of the BESS opens up new opportunities to optimize costs and increase profits in the energy sector.
